DEATH OF ARYNA SABALENKA'S BOYFRIEND KONSTANTIN KOLTSOV NOW REPORTED AS SUICIDE BY MIAMI-DADE POLICE DEPARTMENT


 


The tragic news surrounding the passing of Aryna Sabalenka's boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, has been updated with the Miami-Dade Police Department reporting it as a suicide. This revelation adds further detail to the sudden and devastating loss experienced by Sabalenka and those close to them.


The passing of Konstantin Koltsov, who was 42 years old, occurred on Monday night, as reported and confirmed by his team Salavat Yuleav in Russia. He was the long-term partner of tennis star Aryna Sabalenka, often seen accompanying her at tournaments and featured on her social media. Sabalenka, who was set to compete in this week's Miami Open, is undoubtedly experiencing a profound loss during this difficult time.

The statement from the investigators indicates that on Monday, March 18, 2024, at around 12:39 a.m., authorities were called to the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort regarding a male who jumped from a balcony. The Miami-Dade Police Department's Homicide Bureau took charge of the investigation into the apparent suicide of Mr. Konstantin Koltsov. The statement also confirms that no foul play is suspected in his passing.
